We loved Munich in Bavaria, Germany and the great parks that they have – not limited to the Englischer Garten either.

They really seem to appreciate, and get maximum use out of, these valuable green city spaces, particularly appropriate for lazing on a summer’s afternoon.

Here the scene is at the edge of the Hofgarten, municipal buildings featuring in the background.

So typifies summer living in a City, to my simple mind, and reflects the luxury of having time for such simple pleasures.
