The above mural can be found on the Miyazaki Japanese Restaurant on Cork City just by the foot of Barrack Street, one of my favourite streets in Cork. I have yet to go to this restaurant or its sister restaurant Ichigo Ichie, but the reviews have been very good. In the current climate it may be a while before we can venture out to dine in these places once more.

Seeing the image of the mural on the internet I expected it to be huge, but the building only juts out a bit from the neighbouring buildings. It undoubtedly brings a bit of the orient to Cork City in the south west of Ireland.

The only question is which to prefer, the colour or the black and white.
As I like the splash of red, I’ll stick with the colour.
Hope you are all keeping safe out there.
