In so many countries market stall holders compete to gain the attention of potential purchasers, declaring the best prices and quality. Here in Stonetown in the Zanzibar Archipelago, it would appear that catching up with the newspaper’s headlines was the priority of the day.

I like the way the men fade into the shadows, while the light bounces off the goods. At first it wasnot clear that the stall was actually manned.
MM, you’re back! Great photo. I’ve been more or less underground lately, too.

Reminds me a bit of Laos. There the stall holders lie in hammocks and barely open their eyes as you walk past! Lovely photo.

So many places to go…Sometimes it is nice to just sit and let everything go on around you, immerse yourself, breathe it, smell it, see it and hear it. Get intoxicated on it all. Laos is still on the list, accompanied by so many other places. Thanks for commenting and see you around…🍀
