The snow was still retreating, but already alpine blooms were adorning the slopes of the Kitzbuheler Horn in the Austrian Tyrol.
Yes I have to confess that we cheated and took the cable car to the top.

We did, however, walk down the mountain to the middle station in order to take in the views and the alpine flourish.

Then on to the town of Kitzbuhel, a long, long way below.

I hope you enjoyed your quick trip up the mountain.

Could have been Co Cork, heading out to Dursey Island John, although those don’t look like the Caha mountains!
