In downloading a few images from the iphone I could not help noticing some old images from Iceland that never saw the light of day.
One struck me in particular, an image of an old building gone to rust on the edge of Ísafjörður in the Westfjords region. It looks out at the fjord in the direction of the ocean, mountains and glaciers in its sights.
Despite all the rust, I was transfixed by the building and entranced with the thought of what an ideal hotel it could make.
There is beauty in ageing….
Nice pictures. Years ago I visited Iceland. It is a fantastic country with beautiful landscapes.

Thank you Ronald for your comments. Iceland is indeed very beautiful and unique. We ventured up to the Western Fjords which was magical, so have alot more to potentially see. MM 🍀
