By the end of last week, alot of you were guessing that I had been to Spain, although France seemed to be the early choice.
This is my last clue before revealing to you all the locations of each of the images that have been featured in this challenge. The challenge has been to name the country and region that I visited in April 2016 – all of the images featured were taken in the same region and country, despite some notable contrasts.
For this clue, why not also guess the actual place that was visited on this our first full day in the region. Here we go:

This place was so contemplative it reminded a bit of the Taj Mahal in India.

Not surprisingly, there is a high demand for tickets to get in to see this wonder.

If you have not seen the earlier clues why not see Clue 1, Clue 2, Clue 3 and Clue 4.
So now is the time to declare your final answers to this fun challenge.
Have a good week one and all.

Yes I am and in California we are even further from Europe. Much to our dismay! We’d love to get there more often.

and didn’t track back to earlier clues. Having been there the pools were an obvious giveaway for me. π Wonderful photos, John.

To be fair, I think if you have been there the clue is quite easy, but if not the Arab style could tempt one to think of other countries, articulately North Africa. Enjoy the week Eric. John π

I think that architecture is Moorish so, while I have never been (sadly), I think it is Grenada. Did I say Andalusia before? I can’t even remember.

I am fairly sure you did say Andalucia, and of course Granada is in Andalucia. The real answer will be revealed tomorrow….

I wasn’t going to pick you up on your spelling mistaking in Andalucia, being an antipodean……π

It depends on which local dialect one is translating from!!!!!!!!!!

If you do, try and get tickets well in advance. We inquired beginning of April and it was booked right through to end of May. Fortunately we got some late cancellations…
