A patched up roof, doors holding on by a bit of twine, large cracks in the wall and yet this outbuilding continues to receive its coat of whitewash. A cherished building. I just wonder how long it has been there, how many farmers have come and gone….
For me, this small building really adds to this Donegal scene, standing right by Carrickfinn Church.
Have a good Sunday.
I love that deep red and those small blue ties on the door. It all sits in the landscape so well – it’s been there a log time, clearly.

I loved the blue string too, such a small detail but a big statement. Cheers for your comment LensScaper.
