March 2014 Photo of the Month – Results

Thanks to all who voted and I can now give the results of the March Photo Poll, which to me came as somewhat of a surprise. So here is the winner, as voted by you all and getting 26% of the votes cast:

I love to be surprised and I felt that this shot was ‘too ordinary’ to be voted top image. Just shows how wrong one can be 😟. In second place with almost 20% was the image that I thought would top the poll, having already won the ‘Reflections’ Poll:

Completing the podium positions is Bare Reflections, another surprise for myself. This being a photo from the ‘Abandoned’ series that also features an atmospheric reflection.

So now I have to confess that my own favourite was quite an easy choice, that being the image ‘Empty‘. I loved its simpleness, composition and light, but clearly with it lying in 6th place and gaining just 6% of the votes only a few of you agreed.
