During an early morning walk on Wednesday, I took a few pictures down be the old docks on the Lee. A number of old but bright, green doors caught my eye.
This week’s photo challenge is ‘Object’ for which I give you a padlock.

Still determined to add another image, taken solely for use in the challenge. Also coming up will be photos from my dockside tour.
great photo

I don’t understand how challenges work, nor do I understand pingbacks.

do a search for weekly photo challenge and wordpress and you should get to the challenge page. It is all quite simple. No idea on pingbacks myself! π

I don’t know the meaning of the empty square (π) behind your initials, but I guess that’s something positive π

Thank you Bo, I like the scrape marks on the hinge bracket, they give a sense of reluctant movement. Friday tomorrow! π

I was tempted to state that I object to your choice of subject, and that you should be barred from further photo challenge submissions. However, the Irish are far to clever with words for me to have gotten away with it.
Nice photo, Mick.

Thank you Navigator – I was thinking of taking a photo of a Stop! sign for a bit of a play on words. In the end i had to settle for this padlock! MM π

A man also showed me a key for the doors themselves, it was enormous!

I’m sure it was also very ornate and interesting. I love the look of those old keys.
