Changing Moods

I have mentioned before that here in Ireland we can get several seasons in a single day, and often I think you can even reduce the time span to an hour.

Last weekend in the bog was a case in point. One minute ย sunlight was blinding the eyes and the next the cheeks were being stung by round wet drops whistled in by the wind.

Had a great morning in Cork City centre yesterday with great light in the early hours. Now I know a couple of my recent posts have been on the grey side, but one advantage of winter has to be not having to get up really early to catch the first hours of light. I really appreciated that this morning and have a few photos to share, just need to load them on up.

Then there’s the weekly challenge ‘object’ which I have yet to start…..

  1. For photographing the weather seems perfect, wonderful photos Mick! I love the calmness and serenity in the first one. And rain photos are so beautiful! ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. I only started blogging in May, which has meant i go out and take photographs throughout the year. I thought I would struggle big time through the winter period, but there is always something out there. The winter also has better lower light and it is easier to catch the dawn and the dusk. Lots to be said for it Joss. I am learning fast(ish). ๐Ÿ€

  2. Love the last one… It’s amasing the difference between our winters… I never realised just how much until I “met” you and a few other Irish bloggers!
