Falling Light

For the last couple of days I have been plugging the archives as I need to be doing a bit more work on getting a new career up and running. On this 2003 trip to the Dingle Peninsula, I was out at Castlegregory on the most northerly part of the peninsula.  The sun fell towards Mount Brandon and the other hills to the western end of the peninsula.

As the sun slipped behind a cloud, its rays burst through like spotlights and the full glare was absorbed by the cloud. Such a stunning scene, I just had to try and get a shot on my old Fujifinepix.

  1. It’s a gorgeous shot Mick. I am using the same camera, and it’s been great, although I have my eyes on an Olympus ………

  2. Gorgeous! I think it is even more stunning because of the black and white.
I hope your new career involves your talent for photography!
