Wester Ross may have a reputation for rain, but when the sun shines I can think of no better place to be. Taking the Cattle Drovers Road over the top is a great way to come to Applecross in Wester Ross, Scotland to get to one of the best views anywhere. The majesty of the Cuillins on Skye stand proud and tall, while the mysteries of a myriad western isles tempts the soul to search further and come to rest. This is a place to embrace the world.

Skye is fantastic, but I think I have a preference for Mull where one still has to get a ferry to visit, and it has Iona just off its South west tip. The islands are just stunning and for some reason I really fancy going to Colonsay and Harris. So many places to visit. MM 👣

He does go to them all with his daughter, they do camping unless the weather is bad. They are going up again soon!
