Hanging On

Hanging On

So here we are in the south-west of the country, the area that is exposed to the Atlantic.  Strong winds bend backwards those trees that dare to grow, while the crashing waves spray salt and hurl pebbles at the facing cliffs. Yet it is here that we find the brave Sea Thrift, hanging onto a cliff that is itself crumbling into the ocean.

This picture was taken almost immediately above Beach Art  and just down the road from  Green Door Contrasts. You don’t have to go far to see a lot of sights, just look around.

  1. I like the strong contrasts of color and texture – and if you will allow a little sentiment here, I like that it reminds me of the California/Oregon coast I love so dearly…. you are blessed to live in a place with so much variety – thanks
