In 2012 we took a trip to Skye, a beautiful Island now linked by a road bridge to the mainland of Scotland. My wife loved the colourful broom, so back at home I put some in the garden.

For such a humble plant it really gives off a great colour and is dead easy to grow. That is my fiery friend, broom.
