A Padlock hangs on the end of a chain while vines serve to lock the old gate to its upright post

The gate is all twisted, its bars twist unnaturally while a rusted chain is secured with a more rust resistant padlock. Beyond this barrier lies coarse grass, brambles, dandelions and cracked concrete.

Padlock, Chain and entangled vines combine to prohibit entry to a small area of derelict land

The weathered gate is entwined by vines that weave their way in and out of the rusting iron, as if holding the very structure together.

Fascinating nature.
