The gate is all twisted, its bars twist unnaturally while a rusted chain is secured with a more rust resistant padlock. Beyond this barrier lies coarse grass, brambles, dandelions and cracked concrete.

The weathered gate is entwined by vines that weave their way in and out of the rusting iron, as if holding the very structure together.
Fascinating nature.
I love this, John. The natural sepia feel to it makes it all the more lovely – who would have thought rust could be so lovely?
