An Eagle Owl up close

Up Close

While in Arran we got to do a small falconry experience with Ian Struthers of Arran Birds of Prey and this brought us up close and personal with these magnificent birds.

My their beauty has to be seen to be believed. It was also good to meet a dedicated man such as Ian and I hope these few images help to underline the experience we had (may post some more soon).

  1. Awesome πŸ˜€ I got to fly a Harris Hawk at the Cotswolds Farm Park on my girls weekend away! It took me back to my childhood, learning the art of Falconry from a family friend with his dear little kestrel πŸ™‚ It’s such a joy to watch the birds flying!
