As impressive as the Alcazaba is, the real gem in the Alhambra is the Palacios Nazaríes and the two provide such striking contrasts.
While the Alcazaba is all about strength and defence, the Palacios Nazaríes is unashamed opulence, designed to impress the visitor. It is breathtaking.

I just love living in Europe and having so much history and a mixture of cultures all within a short plane ride. So, so lucky and this place really epitomises that. What a wonderful place to visit.
Hopefully the post has given you a glimpse of the treasures that await should you decide to try and visit. One word of warning though – do try and book well in advance, entrance tickets are limited and sell out.

I bet!!! I have often taken multiple images of a subject so that I can combine them to eliminate as many people as possible 😉 Anything left gets the clone tool! I think I would be blown away by the beauty there 😀

That takes a lot more work and as I did not have my tripod with me – impossible to use it in such a sea of pedestrians anyway….
