Overall, we were a little disappointed by many of the settlements on Cape Cod, but one place that did come up to scratch for us was Wellfleet on the inner bay of the Cape.

The general store in Wellfleet was friendly and stocked with all sorts of goodies, while Winslow’s Tavern was an excellent place to have both lunch and dinner. Felt nice relaxed and spoilt.

And after all that food one just has to take a stroll and check out the local scenery.

I have to admit to being surprised by the wild nature of much of the Cape.
