Love in ten lines – Guest Contribution

Back in April 2015 I posted my own response to the “love in ten lines” writing challenge, which can be found by clicking on Love in 10 lines.

This week a friend in the US stumbled across this post and within the comments section she rose to the challenge and composed her own ten lines. Given the post was somewhat old, I felt that it would be a shame for her work to hide away where it is unlikely to be read.

Before I get to her own writing, here is a re-cap of the basic rules:

  • Write about love using only 10 lines.
  • Use the word love in every line.
  • Each line can only be 4 words long

For the full rules check out my original post Love in 10 lines.

Now for the work of My Monster Boy, shared amongst you all.

Love in Ten Lines

Easy love is not
 Love is not hard
 Love is not free
 Unconditional love is fleeting
 The pain love brings
 The freedom love provides
 Love is often lost
 I’m sorry my love
 I wish I could love
 To love so fearlessly

Please feel free to comment and like. The great smoking hot news is that  My Monster Boy has decided to start her own place of wisdom, so why not pop along and say hi to a lovely lady at eatlovelaugh.
