Last weekend saw Fitzgerald’s Park in Cork City taken over by street performers and a whole host of traditional games from around the world. The event was sponsored by Laya Healthcare and I have to say fair play to them, it was a great event and fun for kids of all ages and sizes.
The Apprentice was our guide for the day and headed straight for the balloon men. In no uncertain terms she said she wanted a parrot. Next door Mickey Mouse was getting his ear blown to the right size, while across from us a motorbike was having its suspension adjusted. But what about a parrot and where did that come from?
“No problem”, said the man – an American that looked very German and lived in Bruges. Well it is an international festival. The Apprentice got her parrot, we were amazed and it was on with the rest of the show.
The event had free entry and comes highly recommended. Well done for all those involved.
Pow! Colours… not balloons! 😉
The Apprentice has grown so much!
Lovely, lovely, lovely!
