Yesterday was one of the wettest days I can remember here in Cork with good heavy rain for most of the day. It was that real good, refreshing summer rain; the drops were bulbous as if bursting with life, breaking into a scatter of smaller drops as they hit the ground.
And here is what we have to show for all that refreshing rain.
The thunder clouds rumbled on through, the earth was replenished.
