Sunday was a great day to get out in these parts, and having been strolling in the woods so often recently, we opted for the beach of Garrettstown, the other side of Kinsale. The Hound loved to stretch his legs, frolic in the water and meet other friendly canines.
So here is a quick taste of the walk on the beach. I am pretty sure the tide was retreating, but every now and then a big surge of a wave came right on in, just to keep us alert. Even The Hound became alarmed.
At the end of the beach it was off up the cliffs to find a secluded (and sheltered) spot for a picnic, armed with a hot flask of tea.
Hey, John, coming to Ireland next summer! Any suggestions welcome. 😉
