Last week the wonderful Wildsherkin reminded me that Cultural Night in Cork was looming fast. It is now almost upon us as it is happening tomorrow, Friday 19th September.
On this date a wide range of buildings throw open ther doors, hold demonstrations etc. It is a brilliant opportunity to see inside a number of cultural centres, even those which would not normally open their doors to the public.
Looking at the list, my favourites would be a behind the scenes tour at the Everyman Theatre and the Masons headquarters. For a full list of options, far too many to name here, just go to Cork Culture Night.
Here are a few images of some of the places you can go to on Friday, and all for free…….
This is a great way to try out something new and get a bit of culture. Wishing everyone well in what should be a great event.
PS I know I have been quite on the blog of late but there is plenty Β of action going on. Hopefully more on this to follow. MM π
lovely photos especially those two long exposures.

Wow, St. Finbarr’s looks spectacular! Kind of like an architectural wedding cake. Great angle on it, too. π

Hi MM. Back on antibiotics so I missed out on all the fun. I love Culture Night and the buzz it creates in the city. I was so looking forward to it. Ah well, there’s always next year.
