Well for now anyway. Monday 14th July was the Cahirmee Horse Fair this year, a break from the usual 12th July – apparently to enable access to banks.
Early reports seem to be that Sunday 13th July was pretty happening too and a fair few of the bodies around early on the Monday bore evidence to this. Not this man, trying to sell this foal of 8 months at the fair. He just took a photograph in his stride, got ribbed by his mates and then got on with the process of parading and searching for that seller.

Over the next few days I will try and find time to post a few more from this traditional Horse Fair in North Cork.
What a cute pony! I have two dogs that are bigger than this little fella π

8 months seems a bit young to be selling him to me but…as long as he went to a kind home. Great photo

Maria, I have to admit I have no idea when it comes to horses and ponies. Lie you, hope he goes to a caring home…

A narrower DoF would have been good, but as a subject and composition I like it. π
