In County Donegal in the area of the Rosses, most of the dwellings are by the sea. Inland the ground is fairly barren, with turf cutting being the main use of the terrain. Trees huddle in dips and vales, hiding from the Atlantic winds.
Even here by the sea, many dwellings lie abandoned, inhabitants fled in the search for work.

County Donegal is a harsh yet beautiful place.
Love the barrenness of the area. It looks wild and untamed. Will you show us some closeups of the building? It looks beautiful but sad.

Am afraid this is as close as I got to this particular building. I agree, beautiful and yet sad, MM π
