Having been away at the beach during the day on St Patrick’s night, I ventured into Cork City in the evening armed with the camera. While I could only find the City Hall bathed in green light, I took a few more images that evening to share with you all.
Not the usual images of people dressed in leprachaun outfits, pints of Guinness, fiddle players and the ubiquitous pubs but just normal everyday night scenes in Cork City.
I hope you enjoyed this small collection from St Patrick’s night. For those eagle-eyed observers you should be able to spot Shandon Tower (St Anne’s), the modern Boot’s store and St Mary’s Church.

Hmmmm…..I really fancy a pint of Guinness …….last one was a couple of years ago in Dublin……as you can see, I don’t really take my drinking seriously enough…!
