On the way deep into the heart of the Malaysian state of Sarawak, we stopped at a market before taking a boat to find our long-house accommodation. As with many a market, there was plenty of atmosphere and wonderful sights to behold, including this fish stall.
I used to eat a lot of these during my childhood when I was living in the Philippines. They’re very tasty. 🙂

I know it only by its Filipino local name – “dalagang bukid.” Don’t know what it’s called in English. 🙂
