When I saw the below in the park yesterday I simply thought, “No! No! No! It is way too early for all of this.”
These reminded me of going back to school, stringing the conkers up using a metal skewer ready for the playground. And then there were the sycamore helicopters we would watch as they spiralled their way down to the ground. There must be some mistake as we haven’t even hit August. The truth of course is in the images. I love to see the seasons turn, but please let us enjoy a bit more of this summer first.

Nice “fleet”…..pruning roses in a close-by city park this morning. Waaaay too soon for that, as well!

Those helicopters are a work of art – truly lovely. I can’t bear the thought of autumn though, especially as we haven’t even taken our summer holidays yet! ๐

Beautiful photos, but I did not want to see these either! I must check the sycamore tree at the end of our garden too !

And now there is more of a chill in the air too. We cannot dent it, cannot change the force of nature….(nor would I want to, postpone it possibly). MM๐ฐ
