In the last of the Quarry series I thought I would post some pictures of the bees and ladybirds I encountered on my all too brief visit to the Quarry Rim. No doubt I will be back soon to try and gain evidence of this site before its clean up and transformation.
Meanwhile it’s good to see that nature is already reclaiming the land of the old Quarry, with flora moving in which in turn attracts the insects and the birdlife.
