This picture was taken on the Castlefreke walk and I could not believe some of the foxgloves that were out already at the start of their season. Just like the fuchsia they abound in West Cork and brighten up many a hedgerow or wall.

Now I promise that this is the last photo from the Castlefreke walk, but then I didn’t even take a picture of the gorgeous sandy beach, the dunes, the stonechats,………… 💤
