This week’s challenge is “Variations on a Theme” and for this my third entry I take the humble apple.
Doesn’t matter how many apples you have, they all seem that be different; the shape, size, colouring, markings all add together to provide a unique quality to each, as well as the odd bruise or two.

These apples pictured in Vermont provide a good example of variation, as does the market stall in Wroclaw, Poland in the image below.
