A sycamore leaf, stricken on a cold, hard, tarmac path

Local – The Park

Courtesy of The Hound, I tend to go to the park at least once every day, even if it is just passing through this green area behind the house. I guess you could call it my local, a perfect place to choose to meet the latest weekly photo challenge of “local“.

The title image was taken on the path in the park, while the following were taken on the way into the park just last week. Simple but hopefully effective.

  1. Sorry John, i meant you not an imaginary Mike. The red is stunning. You should pop over to japan in about 4 weeks if you can , now that is where the red leaves in the Maples turn on an exhibition around Kyoto.

    1. No problem Denis. Never been to Japan, I hear the blossoms are amazing – and now the leaves too. Alas we were too early in our recent trip to Boston and New England…๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‚
