As the sun rose to welcome in a new day on Colonsay, a somewhat surreal experience occurred. While the main sunrise was a little disappointing, one rain cloud came in low over the sea channel this side of Jura and its Paps.
Wherever it sped it left a deluge and the sea’s colour changed in the face of the onslaught. A break in the cloud caused this one cloud to be lit up pink by the sun’s early rays. So here it is, pink rain!
