I knew the fencing would get in the way, but having to keep the Hound on a lead meant I was pretty limited in my approach. All I wanted was the expanse of yellow in the foreground, the undulation of the ground and the bright sky behind.
True the image could have been a lot better, the trees are cut in half and would probably be better excluded altogether. But as already noted, jumping the fence and getting down to a lower level was just not an option.
All I am trying to show is that we do not need massive vistas, jaw-dropping waterfalls, rising / setting suns to create an image of interest and beauty. Let nature do its work…
