Well that’s it, we finally had to give in and light the fire for the first time in ages. Well I guess we are into October already.
No sooner than the fire was lit than The Hound decided to book his place at the hearth.
Something tells me he is looking nice and relaxed and all settled in for winter.

Beautiful! My dog does the same thing. As soon as the fire goes on he finds a home close to the heat.

Ahhh… it’s one thing to light a fire for ambiance (as I do all year ’round when I entertain) and quite another for heat, eh?
Can’t say I blame the gorgeous Hound for wanting to rest his bones by it… Life is good.
