A week ago I asked you to vote for your favourite lemon shots in the post ‘A Plague of Lemons‘. It was the first time I had done this kind of experimentation and was pleased with the response received. It was very close for the top spot between Lemon Shadow and Lonesome Lemon. In the end Lemon Shadow just edged it.

Thank you all for voting and here is the runner-up, Lonesome Lemon:

Have a great week.
Take the challenge a little further: Attempt to make shadows in photo shop with drop shadows. This is what came to mind for this one. Ciao Mick!

Am afraid I do not have photoshop Tim, I just use Lightroom. Cheers for the tip anyway, MM ๐

I think I might have missed that post, but lemon shadow looks like a winner to me – love it.
I tried some lemon halves a few months ago, but weren’t anywhere near as successful at your lemons.
Sometimes the simple subjects are the most interesting.

It was as mush as playing around with different light sources and effects as much as anything and I really enjoyed it. Thanks for your comment Vicki, MM ๐
