The picture below was taken in the old port of Kinsale, a short journey from Cork City. Nowadays Kinsale is more of a sailing hub known for its excellent restaurants and proclamations of being Ireland’s gourmet capital. That will be just down the road from the real capital then.

Looks to be a while; that’s why we have a “squatter” – I think that’s how a good part of our Wild West was settled back in the day. Look out, Ireland.
