On the right hand bank of the south channel of the River Lee, just out of picture of this photo, stands the old Beamish & Crawford Brewery decaying slowly, as depicted in ‘Abandoned‘ and ‘Round the Back‘. Standing at the same point but turning a few degrees to the west the scene is very different and almost paints a picture of a rural setting, not a city centre. The boats add a nice splash of colour with their blue and orange.

It all just goes to show, look around and your view may change entirely.
