So tomorrow I go into a consultation to help me work out which career route do I want to take. I like the emphasis on trying to see what I like and my strengths to match up an appropriate career. But let’s be honest, if we could all do jobs we like and play to our strengths, how many dustmen, toilet attendants and traffic wardens would we have? And the younger males will probably think they will play for Man United or some other team, while older males, like myself who recognise that they are past their playing prime, may like to take over Sir Alex. Mmmm. Well here’s to the future.
