You’ll have to excuse me here, the above image is not really of sufficient size to act as a banner, but hey I like the shot anyway.
The crocuses in the back yard were basking in the spring sun when I noted the perfect shadow being cast by the stamen on the petal behind. So while in the middle of gardening I rushed indoors to get the camera and quickly took a few snaps.
What a pity I forgot that I had recently been taking some shots where I only needed low quality shots, so the camera was set accordingly.
