Where have I Been? – Clue 5

By the end of last week, alot of you were guessing that I had been to Spain, although France seemed to be the early choice.

This is my last clue before revealing to you all the locations of each of the images that have been featured in this challenge. The challenge has been to name the country and region that I visited in April 2016 – all of the images featured were taken in the same region and country, despite some notable contrasts.

For this clue, why not also guess the actual place that was visited on this our first full day in the region. Here we go:

Blue skies, water and a cultural courtyard.
A Spot of Culture

This place was so contemplative it reminded a bit of the Taj Mahal in India.

A tower is seen through the reflections in a pool
Reflective

Not surprisingly, there is a high demand for tickets to get in to see this wonder.

Intricate arches surround a courtyard palace

If you have not seen the earlier clues why not see Clue 1, Clue 2, Clue 3 and Clue 4.

So now is the time to declare your final answers to this fun challenge.

Have a good week one and all.

      1. To be fair, I think if you have been there the clue is quite easy, but if not the Arab style could tempt one to think of other countries, articulately North Africa. Enjoy the week Eric. John 🍀
