This week’s photo challenge I have just discovered is “Landscape”. Wow what a subject, I don’t know where to start.
So I thought I’d start with a few Scottish landscapes with a dip into the archives. Without further ado I give you, Scottish Landscapes:
Tomorrow will be the turn of Iceland and then we return to Celtic lands with Irish Landscapes.
For more on this week’s photo challenge just hop on over to Landscape Photo Challenge.
Beautiful images MM .. Lanscape King 😀

Well I do have a particular affinity for Scotland, all in the name. Have a great weekend Julie, 👍🏼🐾🍀😎

Great ‘scapes Mick. Wonderful skies in particular – you can’t beat seaside ‘scapes for the height of the sky as I am discovering at the south coast.

Cheers LensScaper, in most of the shots the sky really is an important feature. Looking forward to seeing all your south coast discoveries, MM 🍀

Fantastic! You enjoyed far better weather than I did on my lone visit to Scotland….that said, stormy looks nearly as bad as the same view I have of the same place….but there is no foreground in mine. Love the light in the Loch Awe image, and the sheep on the track with the lone standing stone is so evocative of place.

A culmination of many visits mind and lots of muck thrown in too, but to be fair we tend to get quite lucky when we hit Scotland – May is our preferred time to go ☀️

Time for me to make plans for hittIng the road one May (not this one, it already has European plans)

Wow Scotland looks so beautiful. It is a long time since I visited but my dream is to one day cruise around the islands and coast of Scotland. Thanks for a beautiful glimpse of what I’m missing!

HeavenHappens, I hope you get to return at some point, it is a magical land. There are so many islands I think I am just scratching the surface, albeit a very beautiful one. Hope the reminder helped, MM 🍀
