Am image from East Cork, between Ballymacoda and Youghal, from Easter time.
It was difficult to get a picture without the Hound staring down the barrel of the lens. So more images, but with The Hound, to follow.
Hope you are all having a good week.
And waiting for the hound . . . . . Peaceful scene but rotting pilings in the sand make me wonder what was here, when did it stop being used, more stories ๐

I think these pilings are merely the remains of a beach breaker designed to stop the beach moving along the coast and prevent erosion. Stand to be corrected mind, but it all makes sense. ๐

Erosion in one place, but somewhere else new land is being built up by nature as the sand is deposited elsewhere ๐๐ผ

So peaceful and calming. Love it. I suffer from “Oh? You want to take a shot of pristine snow, sand, insert natural beauty ________? Wait, let me step all over it first!!!” thanks to Zeke!

they just have to be the centre of attention and rightly so. At times it can of course be annoying, ๐

They do. And on today’s walk, the little (well, not so little) bugger decided to go for a swim! (Took advantage whilst my back was turned, taking pictures!)

As noted by Frederick, very simple. Thanks for your comments Julie ๐

I think this simple natural pattern makes a superb picture (and I , too, suffer the hound effect).

Lovely image, MM. Re the Hound, I know that feeling. Every step I take, Nellie always seems to be one step ahead of me. A tail-wagging blot on the landscape. ๐๐ถ
