This week’s photo challenge is ‘wall’ and for the first instalment I thought I would use images of some of the traditional old walls that line the countryside, particularly out in the west.
The walls may simply divide land or mark the ruins of an ancient building and many of these will be caked in thick moss, reflecting the damp climate.
To find out more on this latest photographic challenge, just head on over to the WordPress Weekly Challenge.
I have to confess I love the theme. What thoughts do you have on this?
They’re wonderful 🙂 I love old stone walls covered in moss! And dogs 😉

Was only on the Aran Islands for a weekend and it was fabulous, despite indifferent weather. Would love to go back, but there are so many places to visit on this planet of ours. Thanks for commenting Poppytump. MM 🍀

It shows in the images John, that you loved the theme of the challenge. Moss! That is serious moss that you grow over in Ireland and the walls benefit from it immensely.
