One Four Challenge – Week 2

For the Second week of the March Challenge I have simply stepped up the image from Week 1 just a fraction. The shadows were lessened and the darker background helped to provide a greater contrast with the breaking bud.

I also stepped up the sharpness a fraction and this has really come out in the bubbles of rain, particularly the large one on the top right. A regional bit of lightening and here we have week two’s offering, not far removed from Week 1 but different nonetheless.

  1. Great work MM! The darker background helps focus on the beautiful detail of the daffodil and water droplets even more. You have a fantastic image in the first place. So subtle changes are probably all that’s needed!

    1. I agree on the difficulty of starting with an image which is good in itself. the theory is I will have to really play by the time week 4 comes along. Thanks once more for commenting, it really is appreciated. ๐Ÿ€

    1. I almost did it week 1 but decided to hold off. To me the big outcome is the way the raindrops stand out now and have greater clarity. Thanks for commenting once more. MM ๐Ÿ€

    1. I am glad you think the relatively minor update was worth it. I did wonder whether it was worth posting as it was not that far removed form the versions posted in week 1. Thank you for the feedback. MM ๐Ÿ€

      1. Its all about the learning and the outcomes, and this version bought all of the focus into the water drops this time round ๐Ÿ™‚
