One Four Challenge – Week 3 Rain Reflections

In the first two weeks of this challenge I took an image of raindrops on a window and gave different tints to gain the images of ‘Purple Rain‘, to use it’s popular title, and ‘January Rain‘.

In thinking about it more, both windows and water are always on the radar of a photographer as they can produce such awesome reflections; take for instance the image that topped the 2014 poll – an image of a church’s reflection in the River Lee. So for this week’s challenge I set about creating a reflection of the window image and here is the result:

Week 3 – Rain Reflections

Am enjoying the experimental nature of this challenge.

    1. Thanks. I had to play around with the background colour a bit. I started off with black but that was too stark so tried this charcoal grey and it worked a lot better IMHO. Cheers for the comments, greatly appreciated. MM πŸ€

  1. Good thinking and a bit off centre πŸ™‚ It is difficult coming up with 4 edits of the one image but with so many great ideas (like this one) it’s expanding my knowledge expotentially.

      1. It’s stretching everyone to try something new in processing which is great MM . I’ve come to the conclusion it’s not as easy as one would think to find 4 ways that actually appeal to try and and use /do .
Good luck with the next one !
