One Four Challenge – Week 2

Far from the brightness of my post last week, which some helpfully termed “Purple Rain”, I have gone for a much more realistic, damp, January feel to the weather for my entry in this week’s One Four Challenge.

The One Four Challenge is overseen by Robyn G and if you have yet to hear about it, go and check it out – you will be thanking me for it.

challenge2-1

To get to this image I had to reset my Purple Rain version to get back to the original and then set out on a new crop and different tint treatment, together with a small vignette. I have to say I quite like this very real image and can almost feel the dampness of the drops as I type. Looking at the drops I swear I can also see the outline of the house opposite, albeit inverted.

Going to have to pull my finger out for weeks 3 and 4 and learn some new techniques.

Have a good week one and all.

  2. Very different to last week John, I don’t know which I prefer. I do like the drops themselves and the very dark outline like a gasket seal on the largest ones. Looking forward to what you come up with next week 🙂

  3. Love this. I can hear the streak of my finger on the glass. It is mighty realistic and that house outline is haunting 🙂 Really great edit. And again I must add, I have never seen raindrops like this on a window/glass so clear in a photograph, superb.
