I just wanted to say a big thanks to all new followers that have signed up over the last couple of days, it is so appreciated and I am humbled by the influx of visitors. After each follow I go to the site of that blogger to express thanks and to look at their own blog. If someone is generous enough to slap a follow on my own blog, the least I owe them is to say thanks and check out their own material.
Trouble is, with many new followers (thank you Leanne Cole Photography) I am unable to respond immediately, particularly as I am in the process of setting up my own business. However, I will get round to each of you in time and come over to your blog to say thanks and have a poke around.
If I really like a blog I will slap a follow down, sometimes it takes longer and I end up following a fellow blogger after a number of exchanges. Unfortunately I cannot follow all blogs but each and every one of you is thanked for liking and placing a follow on this wee corner of the internet.
For those loyal followers, will try and skim the Reader soon, real soon (whatever that means 😯).
As a conciliatory offering, here is a photo of a standing stone and two cute Donegal lambs.
Now back to my homework for my course tonight……….
Oh this image is so sweet!

And you are so kind (“After each follow I go to the site of that blogger to express thanks and to look at their own blog”) – I admire you for this. I don’t always do this, and it’s not because I’m not well-mannered, but there’s not enough time.

I struggle at times, but I will do it – and it is not like I have 1,000’s of followers (yet)

Me neither. But I do know that some followers who follows only for a short time (sometimes just for a few days) and then there are followers that stays. And these followers are special to me.

May be I am too naive but I’d prefer not to follow immediately if I am unsure, but as with a number of bloggers I have gotten into conversations with them and subsequently followed almost more for who they are- but I find it interesting what they are doing. Periodically I do go through and have a mini-cull as otherwise it is just impossible to manage.
Mau be I am not playing the game, but it is how I want to play 😃

You’re not naive, you see this in a very wise way.
I always visit new followers and if I like what I see, I start following them too. And as you say, more for who they are (some of them) and I really like the special contact one gets with some of them.

Great to hear MM! Sounds like you’re on a roll, keep it up!!!! I know how you feel, I have a rule that I always respond to each comment on my blog but the last few weeks have been really hectic and I hadn’t been able to do it. Now that things have calmed down a bit I’ve been catching up. Also goes for why I haven’t been commenting here, happy to be back though, keep up the great work and congrats on the new followers!!! 😀

Wow, exciting times…you deserve it, MM. That composition is lovely – cute lambs juxtaposed to an interesting rock, plus a backdrop of bright dandelions (and the dry grass in the distance).

I know it is a bit cheesy, but the dandelions, the standing stone, lambs – well who couldn’t resist? 🍀

Who, indeed? Not cheesy at all…and even if it is a little (which it’s not) I’m a big fan of cheese. 🙂

All is good here… 🙂 Just other (wonderful) things have taken my time, we’ve had family coming over… lots of fun together. Also we’ve had such lovely and warm weather for a while now, so I’ve spent most of the days outside with kids. It’s precious time for me now before I go back to “real” work. 🙂 Thank you for asking, that’s really sweet of you MM!
