Continuing on the long way round to the castle, I get a chance to look back down an avenue of trees with daffodil blooms basking in their shadows. A sight to behold.
More wild flowers can be found close to the path and soon we enter tended gardens as the castle and surrounding towers come more into view. The flowers provide suitable distraction and soon I have almost forgotten the castle’s presence as one flower after another vies for my attention.
Tomorrow it is the turn of the tended garden and after a brief look up to the Castle it is on to discover Blarney House. My previous two posts on Blarney Castle can be found at ‘More than just a castle and kisses?‘ and ‘Blarney Castle Discovery‘. I hope you are enjoying this series.
Hey John, I’ve been away from the computer for a few weeks, just being able to get new posts up by the skin of my teeth. But I’m back. Great photos, love the castle and flowers, good to be able to see some of your new photos!

Cheer sZach, it has been manic round these parts, thanks in large part to dear Leanne Cole 😃. Don’t know if you schedule posts, but sometimes I find that really helpful and allows me to do a block of posts in one time and then let them drip feed over a number of days. Good to see you back Zach (now that sounds like a Paul Simon song). MM 🍀

hahaa that does sound like some Paul Simon, good call! Yeah I’ve (kind of) tried scheduling post but haven’t been good at it as of yet. The good news is after a few months of writing the posts I’m getting better and more efficient at writing them, can put one together much quicker than when I started! Have a good day!

btw, if I may ask, what option do you use to make the photos appear as a slide show? love it…
LikeLike
Of c ours you can ask Alexandra. When you hit add media you should see a create gallery option on the top left hand side of the page, hit this then choose the images to be included in the gallery. Hit the done button and the default comes up with thumbnails (or something like that. Hit this menu and ‘slideshow’ should be one of the options you can click. It is quite simple, just a matter of discovering it. Good luck Alexandra, have a good week. MM 🍀💚🍀

All of these are beautiful MM. I especially love the one with the castle. We don’t have castles here…unless you ask my husband and then he’d say our home is his castle. 😉

There is so much history in Europe as well as different cultures – we really are spoilt. 😃

I knowwww….I’ve been to Europe a few times but we really need to go to Scotland. That’s Dave’s heritage. We went to Greece a few years ago to see mine and my family but I need to make this happen for Dave. Plus there is golf…. lol
