Firstly Happy St Patrick’s Day to one and all, and fifty shades of green to you all. Yes, I do mean green.
Today I get more mileage out of my mini-tour when looking for images for the abandoned challenge. This time I was struck by the irony of it all in the small quayside area behind the houses featured in Abandoned II and Abandoned III. As some of you may have noticed by now, I love a touch of irony.
In the first image of the yacht C138, you have to look up to see below the waterline, while to see above the boat’s waterline you will need to look down. Confused? The image should help you out:
The real irony is that this boat has been hauled up out of the water and now rests on the quayside in ‘dry dock’, but now stands besides one of the largest puddles you are likely to see. Well it tickled me a little bit, as irony often does.
So to one and all, Happy St Patrick’s Day. 🍀🍀🍀🍀
